Merton Hotel, Saint Helier

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms, though a bit hot due to the weather, were cozy and offered a basic level of comfort and tranquility. However, some disturbances like the cleaning staff knocking on the door despite the 'do not disturb' sign and the constant humming of the generator affected the overall experience. The service was a mix of polite yet distant interactions, with some staff members going above and beyond to assist. The location was convenient, just a short distance from town and with easy access to transportation options. The dining experience was satisfactory with good choices, but there is room for improvement in terms of timing and in-room amenities like a minibar. Overall, a decent stay with a few minor inconveniences.

I found the rooms to be a bit hot without air conditioning, and the equipment in the room was mostly broken. However, the hotel staff was helpful, especially during a medical emergency. The location was convenient to the beach and had a nice pool area. The dining experience was pleasant, with various options available.

The hotel rooms could do with a face-lift, but my suite was modern, comfortable, and very well appointed. Although quite small, the room was functional with a nice shower over bath and a wall-mounted soap/shampoo dispenser. It was clean overall, but I did notice a blood stain on one of the towels.
